Mission Possible: Art and Enterprise for a Zero Carbon World

Wed 18th Nov

1:00 AM - 2:30 AM

We will be taking part in an online talk as part of Plymouth Social Enterprise City Festival 2020.

The climate emergency needs action now! Action is needed across all sectors of society - business, social enterprise, community groups, the public sector and individuals.

We will be joined by Keynote Speaker, Ed Gillespie. He is a climate-positive adventurer, environmental entrepreneur, Director of GreenPeace UK, futurist, and author of Only Planet: A Flight-Free Adventure around the World. Ed is the co-host of two respected podcasts ‘The Great Humbling’ with Dougald Hine and ‘The Futurenauts’ with comedian Jon Richardson and fellow ‘reluctant’ futurist Mark Stevenson. Ed was also co-founder of Futerra, one of the UK’s first B-corps, a change agency that specialises in business transformation, sustainability and creative communications and campaigns.

You can also find out the latest from ourselves, and our latest projects dedicated to creating a fair, affordable, zero carbon energy system.

Could art be the catalyst for inspiring action on the climate emergency? Our friends at Art and Energy will be joining us to talk about our mass participation art installation, Moths to a Flame.

Discover how you could benefit from the University of Plymouth’s Low Carbon Devon project, which provides practical support to enterprises, including an internship programme offering fully funded placements.

It's going to be a great event, so make sure you don't miss it. To sign up to our talk, and see the full festival listings, click here.
