The Rees Centre Wellbeing Hub is a large, grey brick building on Mudge Way in Plympton. It is on the main bus routes for the 20, 20A, 21 and 21A buses which run very frequently.
There is free of charge short stay (2 hour max) carparking across the road by Iceland and by the Coop; and Long stay carparks by the Methodist Church to the left of the centre - entry via small road behind the centre, behind the public toilets in the Coop carpark; and approximately 20 spaces marked in yellow in the Iceland carpark.
Sadly disabled access to the building is not as good as it could be but it is very important to us that we can be accessed by all. We do not have any disabled parking at the centre, but there are multiple disabled parking spaces directly behind in the GP carpark. There is a short walk including a hill to reach the front entrance. Should you require assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact Kathryn at Barnardo's on 01752 340550. Taxis can stop on the turning down to the GP surgery where there is a short, flat walk to the front door. Internally, the centre is laid out over a large ground floor and a smaller lower ground floor which leads to the carpark where some of the external activities will be held. There is no lift. There is an accessible toilet and the centre and wheelchairs and mobility scooters can safely navigate the ground floor.
Complimentary tea, coffee and cold drinks will be provided onsite.
