Then join Plymouth Energy Community (PEC) and deliver essential support to residents and businesses that want to make the journey with us.

We need Energy Advisors and Assistant Energy Advisors to deliver a wide variety of activities - from one to one energy advice in communities across the city to ambitious multi-million pound projects to help residents retrofit homes.

As an Energy Advisor, you’ll support residents to make informed decisions about their energy use and home, to feel confident and in control of any changes and coordinate activities to make sure everything runs smoothly.

As an Assistant Energy Advisor you’ll be essential to keeping things flowing for residents and advisors. You’ll enjoy working with people of all backgrounds and have a great eye for detail.

These are varied and rewarding roles. You will need:

  • Great people skills
  • A passion to tackle fuel poverty and the climate emergency
  • Some knowledge of buildings and / or energy efficiency measures
  • The ability to work well independently
  • A good eye for detail
  • An awareness of energy issues and vulnerability.
