We are currently recruiting Non-executive Directors to join two organisations in our Plymouth Energy Community family, both with innovative, large-scale projects in motion that are powering Plymouth along its journey to net-zero.

PEC Homes is creating genuinely affordable, healthy homes in the heart of Plymouth, starting with 70 homes in Kings Tamerton. This will be the first project in England to use Energiesprong, an innovative approach to deliver high quality, net zero homes at lower cost.

PEC Renewables is adding to its 33 community-owned solar installations by building Plymouth’s largest solar farm on Chelson Meadow landfill site (read more here), generating enough electricity to power another 3860 homes.

This is an exciting time to be joining this dynamic and driven community organisation. We would love to hear from passionate, proactive change-makers, with experience in one or more of the following:

  • Progressive, purpose-driven organisations
  • Governance
  • Housing management
  • Community energy

Non-exec Directors are expected to attended regular Board meetings and would ideally be located in or near Plymouth, with a strong connection to the city. You will join an inspirational Board with a wide range of expertise (see PEC Homes Board here and PEC Renewables Board here), supported by a professional staff team.
