Improve the comfort of your home by upgrading your insulation

Did you know that insulation can dramatically reduce heat loss and make a significant improvement to the warmth and comfort of your home?

A typical uninsulated home loses about:

  • 25% of heat through the roof
  • 33% through the walls
  • 10-20% through the floor

(figures from Energy Saving Trust July 2025)

Most of this heat loss can be controlled by installing or improving insulation in your home.

  • Loft/roof insulation – a simple and often overlooked measure, loft insulation is straightforward and affordable but has a significant impact on the comfort of your home. For a relatively small investment, it’s one of the easiest ways to start levelling up your home life.
  • Wall insulation – a third of the heat generated in your home can escape through the walls, having a big impact on your comfort. By installing insulation, you can ensure you retain the heat you pay for, creating a cosy and peaceful living space.
  • Floor insulation – by adding a layer of insulation between your home and the cold ground, you can improve the warmth and comfort of your living space.

If you want a home that feels warmer, quieter, and more under your control, then it’s worth considering investing in improved insulation. This will enhance comfort, boost the value and appeal of your home, and signal that your home is looked after - a place that reflects pride and care.
