Free energy efficiency workshops for community orgs!
We're running 2x free 2hr workshops to help your community organisation save money on your energy bills and reduce your carbon footprint.
What is on offer?
We’ve teamed up with Nudge Community Builders to offer our expertise and support to Plymouth’s community organisations.
We are experts in making buildings more energy efficient. Last year we helped 190 households save an average of £630 on their energy bills by upgrading their homes with measures such as insulation and solar panels. Those houses are now wasting much less energy and helping Plymouth’s net zero mission!
We are inviting you to a free 2-hour workshop to help you to reduce your organisation’s carbon emissions and energy costs.
The workshop will help you:
- Understand the different components of your building.
- Identify how to make your building more energy efficient.
- Complete a DIY checklist of energy efficiency in your own building.
After the workshop we will offer a follow-up session to discuss the DIY checklist with you and support you to take the next steps. This could be a free in-depth energy audit of your building to identify which improvements and changes are required.
Who is it for?
This workshop is for people in your organisation that have access to most areas of your building, and ideally know it quite well.
To benefit most from the workshop, it’s helpful if your organisation owns the building. Good too, if you can make decisions on maintenance, improvements and energy supply. However, if you lease or rent the space and feel the building owner may be agreeable to improvements, please feel free to book on the workshops as well.
When is it and how do I register?
The workshops will take place on:
11th September, 10-12am, Four Greens Community Trust, Whitleigh.
12th September, 10-12am, Millfields Trust, Stonehouse.
Click on the links above to book a place. Spaces are limited, so book early!
Note: The workshop content is the same on both dates, please choose the venue which is most convenient for you to get to.
How do I find out more?
If you’re not sure if this workshop is for you, we can offer more information to help you decide.
