Frequently asked questions
There are three distinct services within our offer - although these are linked, there is no pressure to progress to the design and installer matching services.
Free call with one of our knowledgeable retrofit team to talk through whether solar panels could work for your home. During the call, we will share a basic calculation of the potential energy that could be generated from installing solar panels on your home. We will also provide an estimate of the likely cost and what you can expect to see in terms of income and energy bill savings. Following the call we will share a report with all the calculations.
Bespoke solar design - an experienced solar advisor will talk you through the initial calculations and go into more detail to create a solar design, which is tailored to your requirements and budget. This service will cost £125+VAT.
- Installer matching and support service - we will share your solar design with three vetted local installers for quotes and will support you to review and compare these. If you decide to progress, we will then be on hand throughout the installation process to support you if needed. This service will cost 3% of the installation fee.

The initial advice call is totally free.
The bespoke solar design service costs £125+VAT.
The installer matching and support service costs £250-400 dependent on install cost.
We totally understand that not everyone has the means to pay upfront for solar panels.
Solar PV is a proven technology that in most cases pays for itself. Finance offers are widely available to support you to start benefitting from generating your own clean energy straight away.
Our initial advice will include illustrative examples of finance options to spread the cost of solar panels. These will be based on a range of assumptions about costs, performance, interest rates, inflation and usage.
